Frame of Space (Thesis)

This graduate thesis project was created out of a fascination with the ways in which we are connected with our spaces. The final piece is a compilation of research into a process book, and a reactive projection-mapping installation using a series of frames that explores the relationship between physical and digital spaces.

Process / Research Book

The acrylic front and back cover paired with the engraved typography creates a sense of depth and dimension; emulating the concept of space. These select spreads show the range of research and process that was compiled for this project.

Interactive Installation

Each frame represents a small window into a vast and continuously generative digital landscape embedded into all of our physical environments. Using projection mapping, when someone stands nearby, a representation of the personal data they carry with them is visualized into the terrain; playing with the perception and connection of the space they’re in.
